Brazilian president: Ronaldinho deserves second chance

Brazil, RonaldinhoRonaldinho

In an interview with Radio Jangadeiru, Brazilian President Luis Ignacio Lula da Silva defended the selection of players that coach Carlos Dunga selected to play at the World Cup, with only one exception.

"Looking at the Brazilian national team, Dunga did not anyone left out. There is only one player who deserved a second chance, Ronaldinho Gaucho. But somebody at his level knows that would never have been dropped from the squad if he were playing as well as he can", said Lula.

Brazilian coach Dunga has been under fire from many critics, with comments that he led "a group of workers" to the 2010 World Cup and left out some "artists" such as Milan's playmaker, and sometimes the best footballer in the world – Ronaldinho.
