Players of the U.S. national team, in their last match before the World Cup in South Africa have won Australia with 3-1 result.

The match was played in Roodepoort, and the hero of the match was Edson Buddle, 29-year-old Los Angeles Galaxy striker who scored his first two goals in the jersey of the U.S. team.

This match was the third game which he played for national team, and he scored in the 4th and 31 minute of the game. Between his goals the goal for Australian team scored Tim Cahill in the 19th minute. Americans win in the 90th minute confirmed Herculez Gomez.

South Africa kicked off a month long party on Thursday night with a spectacular concert at Orlando Stadium, featuring the likes of the Black Eyed Peas and Shakira, as well a host of local talent.

South African President Jacob Zuma and FIFA President Sepp Blatter also joined in on the party in Johannesburg's Soweto township, calling for unity for the duration of the World Cup.
